Rossford council approves supplemental appropriation and fire vehicle outfitting; several ordinances introduced

Rossford City Council on March 10 approved a supplemental appropriation ordinance and an appropriation for outfitting fire department vehicles and introduced several other ordinances, including authorizations for vehicle purchases and a roundabout agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The council voted to approve Ordinance 2025-15, amending Supplemental No. 4 to the city’s 2025 annual appropriation measure. Council also approved Ordinance 2025-18, amending Supplemental No. 5 to provide funding for outfitting three fire department vehicles. Both measures were passed after council voted to suspend additional readings and take final action at the meeting.

Councilmembers cast unanimous recorded votes on the two final actions shown in the public roll call. For both measures the roll-call record in the meeting transcript shows Councilmember Zachary Owen, Councilmember Rachel Tinney, Councilmember Oberdorf and Councilmember Toth voting “aye.” The meeting record did not show any recorded “no” votes or abstentions for those two ordinances.
