Johnson County Council approves consent agenda, grant adjustments and drug-prevention funding

The Johnson County Council on Oct. 20, 2025 approved the meeting agenda and a set of routine and grant-related items, including adjustments to several grants, a re-appropriation of unspent funds, and allocation of Drug Free Johnson County grant funding.

Council President (name not specified) opened the meeting and called the roll before the body voted to adopt the evening’s agenda. The motion to approve the agenda was made by Mr. Mallers and seconded by Mr. Dittmers; the council voted to approve the agenda.

In a single-consent motion the council approved a series of routine matters and transfers that had been circulated to members in the meeting packet. The consent motion was moved by Mr. Mallers and seconded by Mr. Bates and was approved by voice vote.
