The Campbell County School Board on March 10 approved the division’s Special Education Annual Plan application to the Virginia Department of Education, a required agreement that outlines how federal special education funds will be used in the district.
Doctor McCormack, who presented the application, told the board the plan “serves as a formal agreement between the Campbell County School Board and the Virginia Department of Education to ensure that we are implementing the regulations regarding special education services.” He said the plan is meant “to assure that all children with disabilities have available to them a free and appropriate public education.”
