The Oakwood Schools Board of Education on March 10 accepted a $680,000 donation from the Oakwood Schools Foundation to fund Phase 2 enhancements to the Oakwood High School auditorium and approved related contracting and purchasing measures.
The donation, presented by Amy Martin on behalf of the Oakwood Schools Foundation, will support auditorium upgrades that the foundation described as including updated theatrical rigging, light-blocking shades, updated electrical systems, and an engineered sound system with wireless microphones and speakers. "We are thrilled to be presenting this check to the Oakwood Schools for Flourish Phase 2 enhancements to the Oakwood High School Auditorium," Martin said.
