The West Palm Beach Green Market is recruiting vendors for next season, organizers said, offering about 130 vendor spots and drawing thousands of shoppers each week along Clematis Street to the waterfront.
Reporter Cheryl Conn of WPB TV said the market will include goods “from fruits and vegetables to cheeses, sweets, and artisanal items,” and that the market offers a “relaxed vibe, extended hours, and free entertainment.”
Organizers described specific vendor categories for the market, including bakers, gourmet processed-food vendors, beverage sellers and farmer-growers. “If you're a fantastic baker, there's a category for baker. If you're gourmet processed foods, there's a category for that. We're very specific, beverages, farmer growers. We are always looking for farmer growers,” Conn said.
The announcement noted the market’s downtown location — beginning on Clematis Street and stretching to the waterfront — as a high-foot-traffic site for vendors. Applications and more information are available at wpb.org/greenmarket; the deadline to apply is March 31, the announcement said.
