Major outcomes included approval of a beer-and-wine license for the Farmer’s House with a 10 p.m. closing time, a continuance of Dewey’s Jazz Lounge’s renewal to April 23, 2025 (see separate story), and an approval of a one-day beer-and-wine permit for Iona’s Kitchen at Tower Square contingent on a written confirmation from Tower Square management that security will be provided during the event.

- Approval of minutes from Dec. 11, 2024: Motion to approve minutes was made and adopted by voice vote.
- Farmer’s House (new petition for beer-and-wine license), 600 Belmont Ave.: Commission approved the license and amended the motion to set a closing time of 10:00 p.m.; recorded affirmatives from commissioners followed and motion carried.
- AJAW LLC / 890 Boston Road (class 1 new car dealer petition): Petition taken off the agenda until applicant secures a lease and the required special permit; motion carried.

- Dewey’s Jazz Lounge (Power Entertainment LLC; renewal with outstanding tax certification): Continued to April 23, 2025; staff directed to prepare temporary renewal paperwork so the licensee can operate while the matter is pending court proceedings. - One-day beer-and-wine permit for Iona’s Kitchen (Power Square/Tower Square food court), 1500 Main St., Feb. 17 event: Approved contingent on the licensee providing a letter from Tower Square management that (1) the event is authorized, (2) the hours and date are confirmed, and (3) a specified number of Tower Square security personnel will be present; licensee must provide the letter before the event.
- Rose Entertainment LLC (prehearing conference related to Oct. 26, 2024 incident): Continued to Jan. 29, 2025 after the manager submitted a completed change-of-manager application; if the application is complete the matter may be addressed at the Jan. 29 meeting.
- Veil Hookah Factory (Assad and Paul LLC) final hearing / change of location: Removed from the Jan. 15 agenda because the applicant’s paperwork now is complete; continued to Feb. 26, 2025 for neighborhood/planning review.
- Graham’s Package Store (transfer/sale at 1649–1651 Main St.): Continued to March 12, 2025 to allow the buyer and seller to complete deliverables including a certificate of good standing and neighborhood/planning steps tied to a premises amendment.
- Administrative incident reports (Top Shelf / Faces incident of Dec. 22, 2024; Rose incident of Jan. 1, 2025; Malhar / Noire incident of Jan. 4, 2025): Commission voted to take no action on each report after staff review and discussion with licensees and police reports.
Votes were recorded on the audio record after each motion; commissioners voting affirmatively for motions were recorded by name in the meeting transcript. Several items were continued to allow neighborhood-council or planning-board review, or to permit applicants to file complete paperwork with the licensing office.
