Board approves Infinity Properties’ Winters Road expansion with conditions

The Nash County Board of Commissioners on March 10 approved an amendment to a conditional commercial rezoning that will allow Infinity Properties Management LLC to expand its cabinetry and carpentry operation at 9340 Winters Road.

The rezoning amendment permits two new 4,000-square-foot warehouse buildings and smaller equipment storage buildings on the 4.13-acre commercial portion of a larger 28-acre tract, subject to a set of site-specific development conditions including no outdoor storage, required permits and preservation or replacement of vegetative screening along a western property line.

Planning Director Adam Tyson told commissioners the request did not change the zoning classification or the boundary of the existing conditional RCCZ (Rural Commercial Conditional Zone) approved in September 2022, but it did require board approval because the original conditional approval limited any expansion…
