A county memo from the county attorney was circulated to supervisors; staff said the attorney advised that the board may adopt an emergency ordinance to meet the FEMA schedule and then hold the public hearing in April for the permanent ordinance.
Supervisors moved and seconded the emergency adoption and the motion carried unanimously. The board directed staff to publish notice and place the permanent floodplain ordinance on the April agenda for public hearing and formal adoption.
