The Village of Palos Park council adjourned its meeting after no one spoke during the citizens-and-visitors comment period and a motion to adjourn passed on a unanimous roll call vote.
The closing followed a brief recognition: John Basso thanked Shirley Hulse for her work on behalf of the village. After the recognition, the presiding officer opened the public comment period and, seeing no takers, asked for a motion to adjourn.
A motion to adjourn was made and seconded; the Deputy Clerk conducted a roll call. Commissioner Patan, Commissioner Wade, Commissioner Polk and Mayor Milovich Walters each answered “yes,” and the clerk declared the meeting adjourned.
There were no public comments recorded during the citizens-and-visitors period, and no further business was transacted before adjournment.
