The Douglas County Vacation Home Rental Advisory Board agreed to postpone a detailed discussion of future goals and objectives until the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) hears staff recommendations and gives direction.
Ernie Strehlow indicated he prepared a presentation for the BOCC that includes data and next steps; the presentation slides were placed in the board packet (starting on page 179). Board members said they preferred to receive direction from the BOCC before committing significant time and staff resources to framing the advisory board's agenda. "I would prefer that we wait for directions from the BOCC," said Miki Hampler. The board reached consensus to wait for the BOCC presentation but noted it would remain free to raise other issues as they arise.
