The Douglas County Vacation Home Rental Advisory Board approved its agenda and the draft minutes from the Oct. 23, 2024 meeting and elected Keith Beyer as chair and Lauren Romaine as vice chair.
Approval votes: the board adopted the meeting agenda by a 5-0 vote. The draft minutes from the Oct. 23, 2024 meeting were approved with four votes in favor and one abstention by an online member. During nominations Miki Hampler said, "I would like to nominate Keith Beyer for chair." A motion to appoint Beyer carried; Lauren Romaine was later nominated and approved as vice chair by the board.
Outgoing chair Miki (Nikki) Hampler was publicly thanked by members for three years of service leading the board through significant discussions and public comment. The board then proceeded to the scheduled agenda items.
