The committee then approved a motion to recommend $451,120 for Fire Rescue (motion and second recorded), with a tally of 4 in favor and 1 opposed.
Members asked staff to document midyear adjustments and to confirm how cost-sharing or other budget offsets were applied to salary changes. The committee also reduced some hourly/part-time wage lines and small-equipment allocations as part of its recommended adjustments.
