Lucas County auditor to hold property-valuation sessions in Waterville on March 26

John, the city administrator, clarified that the visit is intended to explain the valuation process and how residents can pursue an adjustment; the visit itself will not automatically change a property’s assessed value. "That will not result in an adjustment necessarily of the tax value; there's another process to go through," he said.
Officials advised property owners who wish to formally object to file the appropriate appeal by March 31. City staff said county personnel will be available in the council chambers to answer questions and guide residents through next steps.
