Committee schedules interviews with three construction-manager finalists for Ancus and Moriarty schools

Committee members approved proceeding into executive session by roll call after a motion moved by Stacy Gould, committee member, and seconded by Bill Hull, committee member. The committee recorded that no votes were taken during the executive session.
After the executive session, the committee announced three finalists for the construction-manager interviews: Downs, Gilbane and Owen G. The committee set the interview schedule to begin with the first firm at 6:45 p.m.; each interview will include a 20-minute presentation followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer period. The second interview was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the third for 8:15 p.m.
The committee said ex officio City of Norwich Board of Education staff, the owner's representative and the project architects would be invited to attend the interviews at the committee's discretion.
The motions to enter executive session and to schedule the interviews were approved by roll call as unanimous among those present. The committee then continued with other agenda items.
