The Monroeville Municipality and Zoning Hearing Board on March 5 approved a parking-variance request allowing Pyramid Healthcare Inc. to provide 64 parking spaces at 279 Center Road, rather than the higher number called for in the zoning ordinance.
Pyramid’s attorney, Jeff Reese, asked the board for the variance, saying the existing structure and lot layout limit the number of spaces that can be built. "The maximum number of spaces that can be developed is 64," Reese said during the hearing. He told the board the company would otherwise face demolition or major reconstruction to meet ordinance parking counts.
