Items approved at Tuesday’s meeting
- AO 2024-122 (property-tax foreclosure claim process): The Assembly adopted code language implementing procedures following the U.S. Supreme Court decision cited in staff materials; the ordinance passed unanimously. Staff said the change updates municipal procedures for claiming excess value after tax foreclosure.
- AO 2025-21 (water wells): The Assembly repealed and reenacted AMC chapter 15.55; the new language requires a hydrogeologist or qualified engineer to determine whether a full aquifer test is warranted. The measure…
