Commissioner praises $250 million Convergence Center announcement; cites demolition activity in Xenia

The commissioner also noted demolition work beginning in Xenia, referencing the Ramona demolition and broader downtown work: "Also the demolition that started on in in Xenia here, that is that's gonna be, where the dirt move in that whole downtown project is is a is a win. The game changer. For Xenia, but for the community, but the whole county."
The remarks were made during the commissioners' final comments section and expressed support for economic development activity connected to the Convergence Center announcement. No formal board action on the project or demolition was recorded at the meeting.
