Commissioners ratify collective-bargaining agreement for county engineer employees through 2028

The Greene County Board of Commissioners approved a collective-bargaining agreement on Feb. 13 between the Greene County Engineer and Greene County Local Number 101, Ohio Council (union name as stated in the meeting). County engineer Stephanie Goff presented the agreement and told commissioners the union members ratified it; the union signed the agreement on Dec. 2.
The agreement covers the period Jan. 12, 2025, through Jan. 11, 2028, and the board voted to ratify the contract during the meeting. A motion to approve the agreement was made and seconded, and commissioners recorded unanimous ayes by voice vote.
Commissioner comments included thanks to staff for negotiating the agreement. Stephanie Goff was acknowledged by the board after the vote.
