The Butler County commissioners were presented with airport items including a successor ground lease and a consultant contract for runway lighting work.
Staff reported a successor ground lease with T9 Hanger Association LLC for Hangar T9 that will generate $19,980 annually to Butler County, retroactive to Oct. 1, 2024. Staff also provided details on a proposal with Stantec Consulting Services for work on a medium‑intensity runway lighting grant provided through the Ohio Department of Transportation. The proposed Stantec contract was presented at a cost not to exceed $76,255, retroactive to Jan. 6, 2025, and to remain in effect until work is satisfactorily completed and accepted by the county.
Commissioners approved grouped departmental resolutions that included the airport items as presented; staff said the Stantec work is linked to ODOT grant funds for runway lighting improvements.
