During a Wilson County meeting, members amended the meeting minutes to correct a speaker’s name and approved the minutes by voice vote.
The change corrected the list of speakers, which had listed "Toby Blackstock." A meeting participant raised the discrepancy, saying, "Under the list of speakers, you have a Toby Blackstock. His name is Shelby," and members moved and seconded an amendment to the minutes to reflect that change. The motion to amend the minutes and the subsequent motion to approve the minutes were carried by voice vote; no opposing votes were recorded in the transcript.
Before the minutes review the meeting facilitator asked whether anyone from the public had comments; none were recorded. After approval of the minutes, a participant asked about parking for Malmo, but the transcript records that as a question rather than a formal action.
The meeting participant also indicated the minutes were otherwise acceptable aside from the name correction. The meeting record shows the amendment and approval took place in sequence and that the meeting adjourned after those items were handled.
