The Town of Harrisburg council approved the preliminary plat for Traymore 2, a proposed 23-lot, single-family subdivision located south of Traymore 1 and adjacent to Hickory Ridge Elementary School.
Planning staff said the preliminary plat conforms to the conditional rezoning approved Sept. 9, 2024, for a 23-lot subdivision on roughly 25 acres and complies with the UDO and town code. The design shows alley-fed lots (rear alley garage access) for all lots in Traymore 2. Staff recommended approval and noted the applicant will proceed to construction-plan approval and then to final plat and zoning clearance prior to home construction.
The Planning & Zoning Board reviewed the plat on Jan. 13 and unanimously recommended council approval. The council moved, seconded and approved the preliminary plat by voice vote.
No additional conditions were added at the preliminary-plat stage, and staff said the applicant must meet all town, county, state and federal requirements as the project advances through construction plans and final plat.
