Pueblo County OKs stormwater easements, maintenance agreements and one-year CSAC IGA extension

Pueblo County commissioners approved consent-agenda items that included dedications of easement and right-of-way for drainage detention ponds and accompanying stormwater facility maintenance agreements with two private entities, and an amendment to an intergovernmental agreement with the City related to the County Special Assessment Committee (CSAC).
County staff explained the easements and maintenance agreements allow the county’s stormwater inspector access to detention facilities on private property and place maintenance responsibilities on the property owners. Domingo, a public-works representative on the call, said the agreements allow annual inspections and that the county will perform repairs and charge owners if they do not maintain the facilities.
Staff also presented a resolution approving amendment number 20 to the IGA with the city for CSAC, authorizing the parties to operate under the current IGA for one additional year and to implement any structural changes in 2026. Commissioners approved the consent agenda by voice vote.
