City attorney: Kern Street foreclosure moving forward; sale expected in June

"They have had a very difficult time serving one of the parties," Whitman said, and added that staff hopes the sale will be conducted in June. She described the update as a public status report; no additional action was requested or taken by the council at the meeting.
The attorney did not specify the property owner’s name, the case number or whether any city cost-recovery actions are pending. The council received the update as part of the attorney’s report and no vote accompanied the item.
