The motion passed unanimously on a roll call of 20 ayes, 0 nays and will carry a due-pass recommendation to the floor.
Brooke Dupree, Legislative Services Office analyst for Commerce, introduced the department's budget and noted Commerce is responsible for administering broadband grants under the direction of the Broadband Advisory Board.
