District outlines Okaloosa Technical College North renovations, hopes to open classrooms this fall

Doctor Smith briefed the board on Task Order 43, GMP (guaranteed maximum price) for OTC North interior renovations, explaining the district acquired the property with triumph funds and is converting interior space for technical programs. “This is the design and the renovations that will be done inside the building,” Doctor Smith said, adding work includes a northern section to be used for welding and manufacturing that will require “significant changes.”
