A spokesperson for the Office of the Governor announced a new website to help federal workers affected by recent staffing cuts in Washington find work with Massachusetts state agencies and local governments and explore private‑sector career changes.
The announcement said the site, called Team Massachusetts, offers searchable job listings, resume help, interview tips and one‑on‑one guidance for workers considering a career change into industries such as life sciences, technology and advanced manufacturing.
“If you're a federal worker who just got let go or if you're just fed up with the federal government, we've got some news for you. We just launched a website to help workers impacted by recent cuts in Washington. You can search for jobs with our state agencies and local government. Or if you think you're ready for a career change, you can learn how to break into industries like life sciences, technology, and advanced manufacturing. We'll help you with your resume,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added that the site includes interview tips and opportunities for one‑on‑one conversations about next steps, saying, “You can get interview tips. You can talk to someone about what your next steps should be. Look, we're here to support you because we need you. We need your skills, your knowledge, and your purpose. What you do makes a difference.”
The announcement closed with a direct invitation to view the site: “Come make a difference with us at Team Massachusetts.
