The Woodland Park City Council unanimously approved the appointment of Marshall (last name not specified in the record) as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment and administered his oath of office at the council meeting on March 6, 2025.
Council planning staff introduced Marshall to the council as an applicant for one of two vacant alternate positions whose terms would expire Jan. 1, 2028. Marshall told the council he lives in Woodland Park and described his work and volunteer experience: “I’m HR journalist for American Furniture Warehouse. I cover 10 stores there, with about 2,000 employees. I also enjoy coaching baseball.”
Council then moved and seconded the appointment and voted with all members present to approve it. The mayor administered the oath; council staff provided follow-up contact information and onboarding steps.
The appointment fills an alternate seat on the Board of Adjustment. Council members thanked Marshall for volunteering and asked staff to complete any remaining paperwork and scheduling for training or orientation.
Council recorded the vote as unanimous in favor of the appointment.
No formal discussion or conditions were recorded that would alter the effective term dates described at the meeting.
