The Glynn County Board of Education voted unanimously at 6:01 p.m. on March 6 to go into executive session for land, personnel, legal and safety matters. The motion to enter executive session was made by Mr. Posey and seconded by Mr. Dodgen; the presiding officer called the roll and recorded the vote as unanimous.
The board returned to open session at 6:58 p.m.; the return motion was made by Mr. Madala and seconded by Mr. Halsey and recorded as unanimous. After returning to open session the board reminded the public that resumes for the interim school board member position in District 5 must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. the following day and that candidates must live within District 5 boundaries.
A motion to adjourn was made by Miss Sams and seconded by Miss Lee; the adjournment was recorded as unanimous at 6:59 p.m.
