Miss Seals presented an update on the district’s use of Frontline Education for applicant tracking and absence management and said the annual renewal now exceeds $40,000, triggering the need for board approval.
She said the district implemented Frontline in January 2019. Last year’s renewal totaled $38,647.01; this year’s total is $40,576.36 — an increase of $1,929. Miss Seals told the board both the applicant‑tracking and absence‑management products are included in the renewal and that staff will continue to evaluate features and potential improvements.
Board members asked whether Frontline provides applicant‑facing features such as online application access (it does) and whether the company is making product updates; Miss Seals said staff would consider feature improvements as part of future renewals.
