Rosamondo said staff will also investigate whether a timer mechanism can be added to work with the float‑activated control but cautioned that the float system's operation may limit timer compatibility.
Rosamondo told residents the city is pursuing a seismic analyst to evaluate mitigation options, and that the analyst's recommendations may require custom or manufactured ground‑level solutions. She added that the pump primes and that most vibration occurs during startup, and that the pump can move up to 12,000,000 gallons a day when at full operation.
