Recreation Manager Ryan Daley said the Roanoke Park playground demolition is complete and that R&R Construction will next survey, grade and install drainage ahead of new surfacing. Daley said new play equipment for the First Hill project has arrived and staff submitted permit applications; construction remains on track for later this spring. He also said the Dean’s Children’s Park public engagement and a community open house are scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at Island Park Elementary.
