Weston prioritizes Vista Park Phase 2; community center moved to later years in master plan

City Manager Don Decker told the City Commission on March 3 that the Parks and Recreation Master Plan has been adjusted to prioritize Vista Park Phase 2 and delay a proposed regional community center.

"First of all, there are no parks items on the agenda, tonight," Decker said, describing how the consultant presentation had originally placed the community center in a year‑1‑through‑3 bucket and Vista Park Phase 2 in a year‑4‑through‑6 bucket.
