• Ordinance (Item 8) — Create Chapter 27, City Board Appointments. This ordinance designates the City Clerk as the official responsible for retaining appointment applications and associated demographic information required under Section 760.8, Florida Statutes. Motion moved by Commissioner Melina McPhee and seconded by Commissioner Andrade. Recorded roll call: Andrade, Vice Mayor Mead, Melina McPhee, and Jaffe voted yes; the motion passed on first reading.
• Ordinance (Item 9) — Amend section 96.11 (removal procedures) to conform with an amendment to Florida Statutes (noted in the staff summary as section 705.103). Motion moved by Commissioner Jaffe and seconded; the clerk recorded ayes from Andrade, Vice Mayor Mead, Melina McPhee and Jaffe; the ordinance passed.
