Town staff told the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee that there are Community Preservation Committee (CPC) projects and other smaller capital articles that need CIAC review prior to Capital Night.
Sandra listed CPC-related projects she had identified including Hosmer House roof and exterior-envelope work, Fairbank and Haskell Community Center grounds planning and early action items, a pavilion requested by Park and Recreation, and completion of a second multi-sport court at Fairbank that was previously value-engineered out. She also described a proposed design charrette to produce construction documents and coordinate improvements across the Fairbank and Haskell parcels.
The committee asked staff to bring the specific CPC warrant language and any cost estimates to the next meeting. Sandra said those articles were not yet in the budget book materials the committee had reviewed and that she would bring the full CPC articles to the next CIAC meeting for review and comment.
