Council adopts parking time change on Northeast Cedar Street

The Camas City Council adopted Resolution 25-003 on Feb. 18, 2025, changing the parking time limit from two hours to three hours on the east side of Northeast Cedar Street between Northeast Sixth Avenue and Northeast Seventh Avenue.
Kerley, a city staff member, presented the resolution and said the Parking Advisory Committee recommended the change. A councilmember asked whether both sides of the block could be set to three hours for enforcement simplicity; Kerley said the question would be taken back to the committee for recommendation. Councilmember Burke moved to adopt Resolution 25-003 and the council approved the motion.
The resolution is a standalone change to on-street parking limits along the specified block; staff indicated the issue had been discussed at the Feb. 3 workshop and at the Parking Advisory Committee. The council left open the option for the committee to consider making both sides of the block uniform at its next meeting in May.
