Council unanimously approves consent agenda including $4.17 million in claims and transfers

Acting City Clerk Lindsay Victor presented the consent agenda at the Feb. 19 Bremerton City Council meeting and the council approved it by unanimous vote.
The consent agenda included: (a) claims and check register — checks number 409981 through 410147 and electronic funds transfers V42821 through V42949 totaling $4,167,551.51; (b) minutes of the Feb. 5 council meeting; (c) minutes of the Feb. 8 joint planning session; (d) minutes of the Feb. 12 study session; (e) purchase of 2025 excess workers’ compensation insurance from Safety National Casualty Corporation; and (f) a Conservation Grant Agreement with Puget Sound Energy for LED retrofit phases 3 and 4.
A member of the public addressed the council during the public comment period but raised no objection specific to the consent items. A motion to approve the consent agenda was made and seconded; Council Members Frey, Rybolowski, Goodenow and President Junger were recorded voting yes and the clerk announced the motion passed unanimously.
No separate council votes were recorded on any individual consent item at the Feb. 19 meeting.
