Planning Board adopts revisions to stormwater application materials; staff to publish updated forms

The Planning Board voted to accept updated stormwater application materials and related development‑fee and subdivision attachments prepared by planning staff.

Sarah, planning department staff, said she consolidated edits discussed at prior meetings and that consultant Gino Caraucci reviewed the draft. “Pretty much everything that you guys discussed at the previous meetings have all been implemented, and then these will go online,” Sarah said, noting two versions: one that could go into effect immediately and one that would take effect after an annual town meeting vote if required by bylaw timing.

The board approved the changes and instructed staff to post updated application forms and the development fees calculator online once the town clerk and other required reviewers approve. Members said the revised packets remove duplicative language that had previously appeared in multiple places in the town’s rules and regulations and agreed to forward any remaining small edits for staff to incorporate before final posting.

Votes and administrative items taken at the same time included a motion to have the applicant for Old Lincoln Street deposit $300 for a peer review (recorded under the Old Lincoln Street item) and routine administrative approvals (minutes and payment for recording secretary) which the board also approved during the meeting.

The board also discussed the town’s OpenGov intake system and asked staff to route application submissions to the full board for review when items appear to present interpretation questions rather than relying on an individual member’s instant response.
