The Needham Finance Committee on March 5 took procedural votes to approve prior minutes and to adjourn the meeting.
A motion to approve the minutes of Feb. 19 was made, seconded, and passed on a roll-call vote: Barry Kaufman — yes; Lydia — yes; Tina — yes; Joe — yes; John — yes; Paul — yes; Ally — yes; chair — yes. The Finance Committee then heard CPC presentations on proposed appropriations and projects and scheduled follow-up and information requests.
At the end of the evening the committee voted to adjourn. The motion to adjourn was seconded and approved on a roll-call vote with the same affirmative votes recorded: Barry Kaufman — yes; Lydia — yes; Tina — yes; Joe — yes; John — yes; Paul — yes; Ally — yes; chair — yes.
No town-meeting appropriation votes took place at this session; the CPC said it will hold a public hearing March 12 and vote on appropriations March 19.
