Commission selects exterior location for Rocky Hill ‘smarty board’ display

Commissioners favored the exterior site because it provides better elevation and sight lines while avoiding mounting-height complications that occurred with an earlier installation. Staff said finance had placed the order and was completing procurement steps; final installation will proceed once the unit arrives and finance clears remaining items.
No formal vote was recorded in the minutes for the smarty board location; commissioners reached consensus in the meeting and directed staff to proceed with the outside location. Staff will verify precise mounting heights and coordinate with maintenance for lawn care around the unit.
