A committee presenter said Albright coached 86 seasons across various sports in the district and listed numerous honors, including a 2013 Community Champions Award from the Compassion Foundation of Aurora, induction into the West Aurora Blackhawk Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015, and an Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame induction in 2022.
Dr. Smith told the board the committee can present a formal recommendation for action at either the next board meeting or the following meeting if the board believes Albright is deserving of the honor.
