• Entertainment license: The board granted a 2025 weekday entertainment license to Café Milano at 58 Center St. for live music, open‑mic and karaoke events.
• Land sale deed execution: The board authorized execution of the deed and final closing documents for the sale of town‑owned parcels at 10 & 15 Station Street and 2 Camden Street, following procurement and a due diligence process. The sale proceeds and terms were previously approved by Town Meeting; the manager was authorized to sign closing documents.
• Verizon pole petition: After a 7:30 p.m. hearing the board approved Verizon New England’s petition to install a push brace and correct an at‑risk guy wire at or near 20 Erica Ave.; the board recorded unanimous approval.
• DPW contracts: The board voted to award the Southeastern Regional Services Group and related DPW service contracts (paving, milling, reclamation, sidewalk work and related items) for a 12‑month term beginning March 1, 2025.
All votes recorded at the meeting were passed by voice vote with the board indicating unanimous approval where noted; in several cases the meeting packet or manager explained that procurement and prior Town Meeting approvals provided the legal basis for the actions.
