The board moved and seconded a motion to “rectify the previous imposed three‑day suspension from January 7 to January 29 without pay of the service employee.” The motion carried by voice vote; the employee named in the record is Amber Brown.
The board then voted to expel “Student A” in accordance with West Virginia Code 18a‑5‑1a and 61‑7‑2 and West Virginia Department of Education Policy 4373; a motion and second were recorded and the motion carried by unanimous vote.
The board set its next regular meeting for Tuesday in February at 6 p.m. at the Central Office and adjourned at 6:36 p.m.
