Trustees congratulated Sawyer and took photos.
The personnel report covered multiple hires, reassignments and resignations discussed in closed session; the board approved the package as a single motion. The district did not disclose in open session the personnel details that were deliberated in closed session beyond the public introduction of the new coach.
