HCISD safety team updates board on TEA audit, regional threat‑assessment and upcoming training

Castillo told the committee the DPS will hold training March 25–27 at the Harlingen Police Department; staff said the sessions will cover evaluation and reporting standards. Board members thanked safety staff for coordination with community agencies and said they value the district’s cross‑agency work.
