The City of Port Richey Centennial Committee voted to approve the committee T-shirt design, add two sponsors to the art and move forward with printing.
During the March 4 meeting, members reviewed a T-shirt proof and asked for minor layout edits (shortening line labels for committee members, changing punctuation). Committee members unanimously approved the final design contingent on adding Dip by Demi (in-kind sponsor) and Whiskey Joe’s (cash sponsor) to the artwork once paperwork and payments are received. The motion was seconded and recorded as approved.
Staff said they will finalize the artwork after receiving sponsor paperwork and payment, and estimated a printing turnaround of roughly one to two weeks after submitting the final proof. The committee instructed staff to make shirts available for pre-order once the proof is finalized and to sell them at upcoming events (car show and other centennial activities) and via committee channels.
Ending: The committee approved the design and directed staff to obtain sponsor paperwork and proceed to print when the final proof is ready.
