Committee forwards resolution to rescind Tinley Park support for Cook County Class 7b incentives for two Marriott hotels

Dan said the request is “really just cleaning up” the village’s records and ensuring Cook County has correct information. The committee had no substantive questions about the request.
Trustee Shaw moved to forward the item to the Village Board; Trustee Sullivan seconded. The committee conducted a roll call and the motion carried unanimously among those voting. The committee’s action was to forward the proposed resolution so the Board of Trustees can consider formal rescission.
No additional conditions or planned follow-up were stated on the record; Dan said the village would communicate the change with the county.
