Council awards $1.23 million contract for South Creek low-pressure sewer project

City staff said the city received three bids; Maple Construction’s low bid was $1,229,520 and staff recommended awarding the contract to the company. The South Creek project had been part of annexation commitments dating to 2007 and the installation will serve previously promised parcels.
The motion to award the contract was made by Councilman Bocce and seconded by Vice Mayor Eldridge. The council approved the contract award by unanimous vote.
Staff did not report substantive discussion about scope changes; the motion proceeded on staff recommendation.
