The City of New Berlin Committee of the Whole on Feb. 11 voted unanimously to recommend that the Common Council approve several utility and city claims and related payments totaling $719,439.47.
City Clerk read the item and listed the amounts before the committee: water utility claims of $136,501.76; sewer utility claims of $25,586.97; general city claims of $420,293.06; tax overpayment checks totaling $52,007.39; two US Bank Visa EFTs of $11,311.29 (2024 invoices) and $14,289.45 (2025 invoices); and an EFT to We Energies of $59,449.55. Committee members moved, seconded and approved the recommendation to the Common Council without recorded opposition.
The action was procedural — a recommendation to the Common Council — and carried by unanimous voice vote. No additional discussion or changes to the listed claim amounts were recorded during the item.
