The Lacey Parks, Culture & Recreation Board unanimously approved the department’s 2024 annual report and the staff-recommended enhancement program requests during its March 5 meeting.
Sue Faelish, recreation manager, presented the 2024 annual report, which showed increases across programs, facility use and community-event attendance in 2024. Faelish said recreation program revenue and rentals totaled roughly $567,000 and program attendance rose by about 15,000 participants over the prior year. After a brief discussion, a commissioner moved to approve the report and the board voted aye; the motion passed unanimously.
