The magistrate set compliance dates (mostly in March–May 2025) and imposed a $50-per-day fine for continued violations in most daily-fine cases; for several vacant or hazardous properties the magistrate set a flat fine of $200 if compliance is not achieved by the deadline and authorized the city to undertake corrective work and charge the property owner for costs.
City staff described a range of violations during the hearing — unsecured pools, structures used as living quarters without permits, accumulated trash and debris, fences and unauthorized remodels without building permits.
